  24. I dunno about the fractal noise thing, I'm sure other people are more 
  25. qualified to give you the lowdown on that, but laser beams, neon signs 
  26. and other glow type light sources are something I've just discovered how 
  27. to do, almost by accident the other day. Make you object, a lamp, a sign 
  28. or a long straight beam, and set the luiminosity to 100%, diffuse to 0% 
  29. and edge to transparent. Voila, glowing light. Taper the laser beam at 
  30. both ends, or round it one end and taper the other, and you have a nice 
  31. glowing beam.
